That was my thoughts exactly. If your guild is demanding red crate from each conquest that likely has more to do with your players leaving than the conquest itself does.
It's normal that each TW competitive guild has such requirements and players who likes TW and play in these guilds has to do the conquest/TB/raid to get the characters and reward. Ofc you can play in a casual guild... but TW focused players with a high roster don't want to play in casual guilds. And some of those players pay a lot to have fun in TW or GA and with this kind of conquest (40 battles, kill 50 with x...) you will lose more and more players.
CG isn't making a requirement for you to have the Conquest charater to be in the guild, the guild is. Seems the guilds requirment of having all the new shiny immediately is assiting in the players leaving.
There are plenty of guilds that do "good" in TW and seem to have fun with it, without all these requirements. Trying to stay or chase the tip of the spear in a grind game is going to require a lot of grind or $$$, for nothing but bragging rights, not knocking it, but that is the only other thing that comes from it. Each play has what they play for. Some seem to like TW, me i would be happy if they just elimiated it from the game.
