- There is a lot to complain about in this game, for sure. But we should give credit where credit is due. This is a vast improvement over the past 9 conquests. I agree the first was the most fun, but this goes a long way towards that.

- SnuggeSnuggles4 years agoSeasoned AceYeah, either fix Sabine so there’s a cap of 10 attacks in a row or give her an instakill ability instead. It’s just so tedious to watch her attack a GL for 100 attacks in a row.

- I actually quite like this conquest, it seems that the balance is right - at least for hard mode anyway. As someone who's hopefully going to graduate to hard mode in the next couple of conquests (I may be back!) there's still a few issues with normal mode.
Firstly it's near impossible to unlock a character, it takes far too long. I have razorcrest complete everything else less then half complete. The other rewards aren't much better then a sith raid, so rewards verses time spent don't match up.
Secondly, feats that require specific characters or worse teams doesn't reflect a players journey and so much of maxing normal mode is about counting points. With more character specific feats happening it gets harder. Requiring full specific teams becomes so dependant on luck Where as in hard mode it's more reasonable to expect players to have these toons.
Finally I'd really recommend going back to 20 cost per battle and therefore 20 token rewards. People may/will moan but it really helps buying shards to make it worth it but also means you can afford to buy med packs etc to get the points that allow the flexibility with the specific feats.
I think ultimately I'd like to see normal mode not just 'less' hard or 'less' rewards but reflective to the audience, which sometimes doesn't seem the case.

This mode is still a huge time sink. They've also supercharged the Hard Path. There's nothing fun about taking one of your GL's into a battle to never take a turn. This is from the middle of sector 3 onwards.
Release the enemy stats.
But the grind is definitely not exactly the same. I've spent fewer crystals on refreshes and my progress is approximately double what it was at this time during the last conquest. I play conquest once a day on this one where I had to log in two or three times a day on the last one to manage stamina. If your GLs aren't getting to take a turn you're using the wrong GL to counter the enemy team.
It's still a time suck - but I'm not finding it nearly as frustrating as previous conquests. They dialed it back and I'm really grateful. I have guild mates that refused to engage before but are having fun with this one. That's certainly not because the Tie Interceptor is so appealing (even though I'll be glad to have it). It's because this conquest is dangerously close to being fun.
