Yes people would have been angry. But at least it would have been forewarned. I'd imagine we are now in a situation that some people, who could previously go deep into hard Conquest, are stuck in the middle of sector 1 and may remain that way for nearly 2 weeks.
The thing is, this isn't just an issue on the Hard difficulty. They also extremely over-tuned the Normal difficulty too. I'm currently at 3Mil. Last couple conquests I was able to make it to Sector 4. Normally I'd make it to the 3rd chest but last one I was lucky and made it to the 4th. This one, if they don't scale it back, I might not even make it to the first chest. But, unlike Hard mode, they aren't even talking about tweaking Normal. In order to beat the Rancor (which is apparently suppose to be GEAR 12) I needed A relic 5 Revan and a Relic 7 Yoda to squeak past thanks to good RNG.
