macOS Big Sur broke Bluestacks. So I can't play my second account and wanted to try using my phone. I signed out of iCloud on my iphone. So SWGoH isn't logging into my usual iOS account. So far, so good. But why isn't google play an option here? they could make it so easy....Meanwhile what are my options? Do I back out of Big Sur, is there another emulator that's known to be working with Big Sur, do I need to buy a tablet? Anyone else finding themselves in this spot and solving it somehow?

You are trying to log in on an Apple device, correct?You cannot log into an apple device with a google account, that is not a game issue they can fix or make more simple. Different operating systems run on different code and I dont think any of them allow you to do that. You can link your game to both Google and apple, but you would have to log into the game to do this process.

Apple don’t let you use a google account to log into game centre..

(Like early 2020 model)Yeah, I currently use Bluestacks to play this game and a couple of others on my MacBook Pro. I'm hoping to avoid using Bluestacks with the new MacBooks. I _think_ iMazing might be worth a looking into. I think the folks from ARSTechnia were using it to run .ipa files... so just a thought.

That's what I'm saying, the reason you cant isnt on the game side of things, that is an Apple/Google thing. They dont want to allow that, it's not the game.

Hey I’m pretty familiar with Big Sur. It is to my understanding that the way it reads code is different and the developer themselves would have to put their application through apples new Rosetta tool that rewrites the code to run on the new version of OS for macs that have intel processors (it was designed more their m1 processor) and certain things like parallels and boot camp will never work. There is also a a security reason behind it as well that the machine sees it as some sort of security issue (for example Virtual machines are still susceptible to viruses that MacOS otherwise wouldn’t be) and won’t allow any type of work around until the developer fixes all the things it doesn’t like. That’s the most basic way I can explain it. In summary, blue stacks needs to use the Rosetta tool to fix it and no work around exists.

Even tho it doesn’t help now, I believe all new Mac computers that use the M1 should be able to download your IOS version of the game natively bc they will share the same App Store with the phone and iPad now.

google login uses google play games which is an app for android not iOS.
google login is for Android devices
apple login is for iOS devices
Try facebook login, might work
