Kudos to the developers for reacting quickly to the exploits this time. Slow reaction to previous exploits only increased the frustration for everyone. I agree with all 4 items being addressed and think they address the exploits cleanly and fairly.
I also support that view that more is needed to address the frustration with the current raid setup. The woefully weak Rancor raid set bad expectations for people. Beating a T7 Rancor raid was not a measure of strength of a guild and neither was how fast you were able to complete it, but it was the only measuring stick Guilds have. The result is everyone expected to be able to beat the heroic AAT raid if they easily beat the rancor raid. The developers should have done a better job of explaining that the Rancor was unintentionally weak and that the new raid is intended as a challenge that required a large number of characters to complete. If they had laid out the raid as intentionally hard from the first announcement on, they could have set expectations properly and dodged some of this. That and giving a raid tier that most guild could complete in a reasonable amount of time. Adding a lower tiered raid could have reduced/eliminated much of the frustration with this raid.
Kudos to acting fast. Please make that the new normal!
