Damage over time

Anyone here ever play other games where your character would get poisoned over time and you actually were worried about it?

Damage over time in this game to put it bluntly....pathetic. Is it possible we can increase the damage over time overall damage so some heroes like Talia, Vader, Sidious etc. can actually do some damage?
