even with my best mods at 4.1m gp I get taken out on wave 3 with tarful & choda

maul is required, even though the players who need this event dont own him.

I have Maul at 5* and I need this event. Do you think people who have Maul have all the previous era characters at 7 stars?

I've beaten tier 4 with a r3/6* Vader and r2/5* Maul/Asaj/Ig90, no Zetas. But I needed at least 30-40 attempts, if not more. Took me about 2 hours. It's maybe the most RNG depending event, I've ever played.

More than 50% of the fights were like this:

IG90, Vader, and Asaij got killed before I had my first turn. Even with more than 300 speed on each toon.

I experimented a lot with mods and turning list. It worked best, when Vader had the highest speed and was the starter for my squad. Vader's 2. Special, than Maul's first special on Leia. Luke next. Without Luke and Leia the remaining Han & Chewie aren't a threat. Just basic'd them. Round 2+3 were rather easy then, and round 4 was all RNG again. It finally worked when Vader had the 1st turn. 2. special, then 1. special which took out Savage, after that Maul was easy.

For the next time I'll relic Maul and Vader on R4 and maybe give Maul the zeta for his unique. Don't need a nervous breakdown again.

With 3* toons I guess, even the low tiers are not doable without Maul. Maybe it's possible with maxed relics. But who would max. relicing a 3* toon? I wouldn't. Not for an event that only comes 6 times.

no, but you're only spending the minimum to skip a bit of the grind?

thats still kinda sad its an event needed for players who spent real money.
