I don't disagree with what you said. But I'm not concerned with "entitlements". I think CG should strive to maintain player confidence. Things like this have happened repeatedly over the years, and they are a large part of what drove me to stop spending. Obviously, I am not CG's typical customer - Morgoth_swgoh12 months agoRising Ace

I would probably apply the omi either way, however the text was/is grossly misleading.
As I’ve mentioned in a discussion before release the “persist after death” sentence only make sense if it’s the entire unique, not just the omi part as it otherwise would do nothing.
And the lift from the omi is in an entirely different league if it’s all of the unique that persist vs nothing.
It’s the difference between enabling SEE/Bane to beat JMK, Jabba and Rey consistently or not at all/only occasionally.
Still a super strong toon an decent omi, but very different in terms of what teams it “solve” - thedrjojo12 months agoSeasoned Ace

In squad arena, cat force leaps see 3/3 times and I win with full health/protection on see/bane "thedrjojo;c-2461148" wrote:

Sample size of 3 attempts isn’t a lot. Especially since if CAT gets Decieved, she can’t Force Leap SEE and has to do Bane.- Morgoth_swgoh12 months agoRising Ace

Plenty of easy solves for JMK, in 5v5 SEE does just fine with one of his previous lifters.
Wouldn’t stake my GAC on CAT not being deceived and her choosing SEE over Bane.
Point is that what Bane doesn’t lift SEE to solve many problems, just allow him to two man a lot more than before.
Bane is best used to lift himself and some rando high relic Sith since the omi doesn’t actually persist.
Btw also a funny notion that the two most likely use cases for Bane is him under SEE lead and under his own lead, both of which prevent revive, making the “his own stat boosts persist until a revive” even more absurd - riklass12 months agoNew Scout

I beat JMK pretty consistently with SEE without Bane in Squad arena/GAC. Use Armorer, Thawn, Watt, tank combo. Also beat Rey regularly with SEE w/o bane in GAC/squad (although usually use SK for that). As for Jabba, he is pretty soundly beaten by SKLR.
When I get Bane will probably deploy him separate from SEE. - Crispy50812 months agoSeasoned AceI think many people posting are missing the point. No one is arguing Bane is not good or that the Omicron is not good (even without the "persist"). The issue is simply the description of the Omicron was incorrect, and many people applied it before CG acknowledged that. I imagine many players will continue to apply it (not frequenting the forums) before CG changes the description. Now, some may still apply it or re-apply it if it is refunded, but the point is that CG should refund the Omicron to maintain player confidence and trust. CG clearly made an error here, whether it was intended or not
