Here's my take on the Darth Revan/Malak situation. They announced in the previous road ahead that they would be releasing the "kotor companions" I believe. What this does eventually is allow new players to choose from 9 different toons to farm for the JKR event. Badstila is definitely an eye opener. I believe Darth Malak is released in Feb as a marquee toon. He will reenergize the triumverate in arena and will pair nicely with Badstila with him in the lead. Badstila's zeta which gives foresight doesn't make sense right now, right? Introduction of DM would make sense if this supercharges him specifically somehow.
The reason I don't see it being a journey or legendary is that some of the characters required would be redundant imo. The JKR event isn't specific but to the faction. If another event comes that IS specific to the toons needed, like some have suggested, that would mean that people could just double up on those toons and get both characters. I see that as highly unlikely.
Oh, and btw, I believe the version of Darth Malak will be from TOR. As will the Darth Revan that comes out next year.
