Sounds like promotional material for a Rogue One pack. "Get these guys and use them to do this thing"

Doesn't necessarily mean you can only use those guys.

I hope you are right, I was really hyped about Nihilus and if it requires Rogue One toons to unlock or acquire him then I will be screwed.

The reason I think there may be a shred of truth to it is because of the weird mix of separatist event coming up. But you can't always trust datamines.

Considering they said this month is all about the darkside, I still think it makes more sense for them to be farmed by those characters, be it empire sith or even confederacy it makes much more sense than R1, apart from the obvious chance for EA to cash in

Yeah but it is also true that there are some R1 character that are of the DS: Shoretrooper, Krennic and DT.
I still think the guy is a troll though.

It's a brand new event with a $2,000 entry fee.

Each time you enter you are guaranteed at least four shards, with a *chance* of 6 shards.

Let's hope this is just a troll, but given how they are pricing ship packs and now DT and Krennic I wouldn't put it past them. Seems pay to win is the motto.

That, as of now, false statement is in the format used in the Loc_ENG_US.txt file. Which as shown in the 3rd image above doesn't exist.
