Darth Nihilus unlocking process

That is where I am at. Just looking at my roster to see what to work on next. Anything new is just meh.

That is where I am at. Just looking at my roster to see what to work on next. Anything new is just meh.

We're at a point in the game where, unless you spend, you can't 7* a character and bring them to their max potential. They sit on the bench, at least for players like me who are light spenders and still rank high on my leaderboard. 3* DT and 4* Krennic do nothing for my squads. Unless I can bring Nihilus to 7*, he's likely in the same boat.

I hope yoda/palpz being rotated monthly is a clue. Hopefully nihilus is the new 'extremely rare' event, but who it will require to unlock him is another thing entirely

I wish we at least had a clue as to what faction, if any, will be needed.
I'm very short on Siths (I only have Vader and Palp) and don't want to invest in them until/unless necessary. :/

I would doubt that they require a Yoda/EP style event using Sith instead, because for both of the others, you could easily farm your 5 7*s from various shipments and cantina, plus there were at least 8 available from each synergy at the time the event first came out. There are only 6 sith, so to need 5 of those 6 is asking too much.

Edit: also, the event description said "gather your best squads..." which means it won't be just one faction, at least in my understanding.

Rouge one characters makes sense. They gave out two of them for free recently. The director and Darth trooper. K2so was given out. Scariff rebel Pathfinder. So many people have at least 4 characters to do this.

Squads being plural doesn't have to mean each person having multiple teams. You are reading it as if EA is talking to you and only you. That's acceptable, but doesn't mean it's right. It could be read as being addressed to everyone, so it's plural because each person has their own squad. So there are millions of squads.

What if it's an event like yoda/EP but it increases in difficulty per star unlock kind of like how they added the extra difficulty to military might.

Make 6* hard to beat like req of all 7* g9 modded good

Make 7* req g10^ heavy mods a new kind of difficult

I'm going to make myself believe that it's directed at each player, because I don't want a sith event when there are so few sith currently. But of course I'll expect nothing less lol.
