Yup.

He is pretty useless unless you mix him with other toons, or place him under a different lead, which completely defeats his purpose.

The old Sith toons (Maurader, SA and ST) are horrible and outdated.

He can't compete with JKR consistently. They made JKR so OP that anything that can't compete does nothing. Blah blah he's good in GA or TW... and yet JKR still dominates arena.

DR needs a new tank, and a way to heal or revive, similar to Jolee.

I use DR as lead with Nihilus and Sion, i am able to beat most other teams and i can hold on defense fairly (DR never meant to be unbeatable and that's fine) with this exact team.
On the other hand there are DR teams in my arena that use Marauder and SAssassin so they're far from being outdated. You just need to find a good mix and mod your team properly, that's all.
