Darth Sion Zeta fix

Fix whatever whacky stff happens that enemies that arnt inflicted with pain still dont get the debuff pain when attacking Sion. Its a zeta..... thank you

    It doesn't matter if it's a zeta, it still can be resisted unless it says it can't.

    Also, there is always a base 15% chance to resist, regardless of tenacity.
  • Nothing in the zeta ability says it skips the tenacity check. Modding for tenacity or taking teams with tenacity up buffs and cleanses are part of the tactics of this game.

    I think it would be really annoying to need to know exactly what parts of an ability came from the zeta to know what automatically becomes unresistable.

    What you want is just a better ability than it is. It's not that good. It is what it is, and it does exactly what the ability said it would when you paid the zeta mats for it. If it does not say "can't be resisted" then don't upgrade the ability thinking that it will be.

  • It doesnt matter what squad i was using or what squad i was vs. "At the end of each turn, Sion inflicts Pain for 3 turns on enemies who damaged him that turn." Someone with dispelling ablities or tenacity up buff (example: GM Yoda, Rex, JK Revan) can clear or prevent. BUT with niether of those in effect or present then Pain debuff should be 100% effective. And yes zeta does mean something because why else would spend time and resources on an ability/toon just to have it leveled to something useless. Why not rework him to make him more of an asset like what happened to Mace Windu and Qui-Gon Jinn.
  • Sounds like you didnt read my rebuttle let me explain: sion doesnt need a turn its whoever caused damage to him. Whether it be a specified/basic attack or aoe/special attack. I already talked about and inluded dispells of debuffs and debuff immunity. A zeta in this case is a big deal. It changes the conditions from one round to 3, and changes it to maybe working to an absolute. its not a locked debuff like Isolate inflicted by Traya but it should still be beyond any one toons individual tenacity. Though i am suggesting it should be like a locked debuff or a blue status symbol since it doesnt really pose any real negative effects (for example ferocity, health down, buff imunity, healing immunity, ect). It is preventable but following game dynamics and rules then Pain should be inflicted 100% of the time

    That's not what the zeta adds. Prior to the zeta, the ability reads;

    "Sion has +100% Defense and +100% Tenacity against enemies with Pain. At the start of each enemy's turn, if they have Pain, Sion gains Taunt until the end of the turn. When allied Darth Traya or Darth Nihilus are Critically Hit, reduce Held By Hatred's cooldown by 1."

    The zeta adds the entire section of inflicting Pain after being damaged, with no mention of it being unresistable.

    Pain, like the majority of debuffs, can be resisted. Only if the debuff comes with “cannot be resisted” would Pain always be applied. Zeta or not.
