Wouldn’t it make more sense for the new character to be Darth Vader (Anakin) than General Skywalker? Darth Vader (Anakin) would have to get the 501st tag because that’s who he led into the Jedi Temple...

This seems the most likely, and just makes the most sense. A "Fallen Anakin" makes no sense, plus there really isn't a such thing as "Fallen Anakin" he wasn't even like that for long and he was already named Darth Vader pretty much immediately by Palpatine. If you ask me, I don't think it will be anyone the community theorizes over, but that's just me, but if so a General Anakin would seem most likely because of LSTB, that's pretty much the only reason.
