Everything for the older set becomes "stuff" for the newest set that we should hear about in the next couple weeks. (old set expires 24 January, so we should hear about the newest set before that.)

The best option is to do some of the dusting yourself so you can manage materials and build the newest datacrons before the final expiration happens. That way you don't lose anything to caps, like the currency and you have some ready a little earlier.
