Honestly, cry me a river. Don’t take that personally. It isn’t meant that way.
Players in the larger guilds that spent Uber amounts of money were never constrained by RNG. They could just buy more crystals, shards, packs and overcome RNG with sheer spending. (More crystals = more refreshes = more attempts = more shards, more mods, etc.). Other players couldn’t do that.
Well guess what? You can spend now and increase your inventory of datacrons, but “no” you might not get the best and you are limited to your number of tries. Someone from a smaller guild (that doesn’t spend as much) just might have a chance to get the best datacron now. Oh that’s just terrible. You can still have more datacrons than players that spend less, but maybe not the shiny one that you covet.
In our guild which is 400 MM, we are pushing everyone to look for the best datacrons. Some won’t get them, but the more we have the better. That’s just fine. It’s RNG right?
Honestly it is best that they expire after 3 months. Other wise the advantage that everyone is complaining about would be forever and then people really would quit if they didn’t get the best.
