Datacron suggestions (let us name our DCs)
Datacrons are here to stay, like it or not. But there are a few UI tweaks that could improve the experience
- Better UI view. If I want to find a specific DC (let's say a damage immunity tank DC), then I need to click on a tank dc, see if it the right one, if not go back, click on the next (and remember which one is the next). Not super user friendly. That can be addressed in several ways, I will describe three below (and I think all should be implemented)
- Move directly from DC to DC. Right now we need to get back to the DC overview and select the next DC. Arrows like on the character screen would be nice (see attacked mockup)
- DC summery from the overview screen. When we click on a DC, then show the abilities and maybe stats. Then let us click again (or a different button) to access the upgrade screen
- This is the main one: let us name our DCs! There are so many DCs (especially this set) and it's hard to remember which ones to use with which toon. Sure, the DC9's are sometimes easy, but not always and most DCs are not lvl9. So let us give them names to make them easier and more fun/flavourfull to use: "GAC Rey" , "Lots of dps", "Vera*" or whatever.
