TBF if they kept their current abilities it would be a little too strong. Officer did 20% more for each ally with advantage. Now imagine that with 100% Crit. FOST only buffed himself lol.
If all four of FOO's allies had advantage, he currently gets a +80% damage bonus. He can get this when paired with Phasma's Victory March, but if any of his allies loses advantage before his turn, the bonus drops to +60% (or lower). With the change, he gets +20% crit damage. If
even one ally (including himself) has advantage when it's his turn, he gets a
guaranteed critical hit.
Crits hit for +50% damage, right? With an extra +20% crit, that's either:
(base damage) * (1 + 0.5*1.2) = 1.6*(base damage) = 60% more than base damage (my $$ on this one)
(base damage) * (1 + 0.5 + 0.2) = 1.7*(base damage) = 70% more than base damage
So FOO gets +60% damage on basic if any ally has advantage. That's a buff. Sure, he has the potential to get +80% with the current model, but in practice he rarely gets that much bonus.
