De-Clutter the GUI (Solution)
I think this is the biggest Gui improvement I'd like to see: Stacking buffs of the same kind. As long as they're not showing the duration of the separate buffs anyway, they might as well just stack all the similar ones.

This same principle could be applied to HoT, Protection Up, and any others that stack.
Sure, it doesn't look as cool, but it'll make it much easier to see everything when there are multiple units with more than 4 or 5 buffs/debuffs (which happens very often...).
