I am a 10 year player. Now I can’t even level a new character to level 85. I can only play in one game mode. Even if I do well in the game mode from a skill perspective the damage gets turned off every 10% letting you know you’ve reached the “spend more money” fun cap.
10 years and I’ve never seen anything like this underhand, grubby, predatory, disgusting money grab. You literally cannot engage with the new cha renter or content in any way meaningful whatsoever without money.
This is not an improvement to the game. This is not an encouragement to engage with the game. You’ve turned me away. 10 years. Every update, pain point, new monetisation progress content, I’ve survived it all and absorbed it as the core idea was always there.
They just altered the core mechanic of the character collection loop, and replaced it with something else. I am not on board with the new loop of predatory micro transactions for minimum upgrade or content engagement.
I’m done. 10 years. Wiped out by predatory behaviour. I hope the new players you’re chasing give you all the money you clearly want.
The most depressing thing is that they could have earned much more by making the game truly better. All they had to do was ask: Guys, what do you need? What are you willing to pay for?

Sometimes I think that the million new bugs that are currently occurring in the game are a hidden protest by the people involved in implementing these crazy ideas that don't belong to them.
The people who write the code and the people who come up with the game mechanics are different people. I think that programmers, designers, and others are also unhappy with these ideas.
