Not really, Death Trooper relies heavily on debuffs and Biggs' unique can make DT's attacks a bad thing. Empire relies more on team effort, not one or two toons. Empire isn't cheap, they're balanced IMO. If you have Rex and Yoda, Empire is near useless.

Unless you run Zader with a fast TFP. You would need an even faster Rex of Yoda and even then DT strips buffs so neither will last long. Glad they made DT everything that every other faction has for Empire. Deathmark is a nice touch and is as OP as Chaze and Wiggs so it has brought balance at last.

A guildie of mine got Yoda up to 282 speed, which can really hurt Empire teams, Death Trooper not as OP as it looks on paper.

Exactly but Yoda's Tenacity just gets stripped by DT's AOE. DT is great but I'm guessing they will make him as exclusive as Chirrut

Not if Yoda uses his basic to get foresight, and then uses Battle Meditation. That will give everyone tenacity up and foresight. Or simply wait for the bad AI to use the AOE first then give tenacity up.

I wouldn't consider the AI using DT's debuff bomb on unbuffed toons to be bad at all. Let that happen one time and see what happens when you try to get tenacity up on your next turn.

DT doesn't need the star up. I run him at 3* (G9) in my Arenasquad an were able to go up to rank 2. Sadly short after payout time. ^^

Since when does DT inflict DOT ? He should only inflict daze and stun according to its description... Am I missing something ?

I mean this is obviously a bug no? A couple times he goes from 20 to 100% TM in one hit..

Yes he is bugged and with the bug he is way too OP. Easily the best toon in the game until they fix it.

He is not broken, he is just an Anti Rebel character (most of Rogue One Rebels have anti Empire synergy) he is gaining that much TM because of Palpy/IG 88 lead, he is putting Daze, Stun, and DoT (for every crit from IG88's lead) Death Trooper is exactly what the Empire needed. His dispell is not broken like B2's, it doesnt deals a lot of dmg like Baze's, and his Death Mark might even look broken, but it is an Anti Tank attack (bye bye godly Baze) Back then it was like this... Empire team vs Rebel team... Biggs/Wiggs Combo 1Hit KO' Emperor Palpatine...Royal guard cant even taunt because that combo is a 1 Hit KO you cant even protect your Emperor back then (from Wiggs's godly speed boost and raw dmg) it was pretty much GAME OVER (And they had strong characters like Han st, Lando, and Chaze) the Empire needed a defender (Shoretrooper, that has an even better Rebel counterpart, the lmmortal Baze Malbus). Having an Empire team takes strategy, using your brain planing each move, not just attack blindly , having a Rebel team, just takes to press Auto and you are gonna win, they are too strong and have a very high damage, but now, l can say that this fight pretty much even, we have a strong Empire faction and a strong Rebel faction. Now the Empire can fight back...

Its means he lands a dot on a crit from 88 lead. His basic lets him double tap if the target is rebel. If the target doesn't have daze, the first hit applies daze (and dot if crit) for up to 40% tm from 2 debuffs. The 2nd hit applies daze and stun and a potential dot for 60% tm. 100% turn meter.
