This is disappointing that it’s been changed to a 1 day event now. Why? Now that many more people are getting Talzin to 7*, you back off so people stop getting zetas and shard shop currency? Come on! ...

They did it because everyone was complaining about Wicket's being only one day long. They thought they should balance it out and naturally, they wanted to impede on progression while doing so.
This is why you have to be careful what "you" complain for. They are not always going to even things out to be better for the players
