This is disappointing that it’s been changed to a 1 day event now. Why? Now that many more people are getting Talzin to 7*, you back off so people stop getting zetas and shard shop currency? Come on! ...

Truthfully, I think it was likely because they want to start adding zetas to new locations (GA rewards, for example), but were concerned that they would become too accessible, so they were reducing the number of zetas available.
As DoD rewards zetas if MT is 7*... cutting it down a day seemed like a valid choice.
