So we should reward players who take a break from or dont play the game while punish people who play daily? Makes sense...

Yeah I took a year break and i'm back in the top 50 in my arena. So all that crying you are doing is nonsense. It's doable.

Plenty of people take time of and come back. Guess what it is going to take time because you decided (it happens) to take a break for the game and guess what the game didn't stop.

Breaks for many reasons are sometimes needed from the game, but the game will go on with out you.

Returning customers is crucial for business. And also, there wiuld be zero advantage for taking a break since you stay stagnant, not sure how you gathered that. Thanks for the flame tho.

what makes you think his shard is easy though?
the forum is often very negative, but you have to understand that what you're asking sounds an awefull lot like asking for an easy button. You're doing worse than your peers, so you should be placed on an easier leaderboard. Not only that, i'm glad i left the majority of my leaderboard behind me roster/mods wise. I'm not looking forward to a random guy to get dropped into my leaderboard because that guy has a better chance at being competative on my leaderboard only because he stopped playing for a while.
So yea, i can understand the negative responses to your request.

He isn't asking for an easy button, he asked to have shards divided based on number of days logged in, or a similar metric.... Which means you will always be competing against people at or around the same progress.

Actually, Dev said that they haven't done so and had no plans at that time... Not.that it was off the table or that they would.never do it.

Um yea I can read the English just fine. Let’s just say that this is a stance they’ve taken since the start of the game and now that we are going into the third year, it’s likelihood of changing is low. Thank goodness for that!

@Blizzisme thank you, one person understands what I was looking for.

@leef i guess I couldn't portray what I was looking for to you and you seem to be drawing conclusions to why I was seeing if this was something that was going to happen. Many games that have long term development goals have ways of bringing BACK customers. SWGOH does not do that, was just trying to bring some attention to the topic. Also, I gave the examples of my old guild mates and myself because that is the experience I have and thought it would help people understand why from a player's perspective that this is something that could help.

@ThePenguin77 i got him as well and have been saving gear, hopefully it pays off :)

I'll consider this closed since Devs haven't made any comments on the topic since I've been playing more. Appreciate those who gave informative feedback.
