Depa Billaba Kit Idea

Here is the kit idea for the Jedi Master Depa Billaba, member of the Jedi Council, and master of Kanan Jarrus.



Unit Name: Depa Billaba
Tags: Light Side, Healer, Galactic Republic, Jedi, Jedi Council
Description: Spiritual Jedi Healer who honors fallen allies for their Sacrifice.
Archetype: Tactics (TAC)

Basic: Strategic Blow (Omega):
Spoiler
Deal special damage to target enemy, and if it is Depa's turn, call target ally to assist. If target ally is Galactic Republic or Jedi, both Depa and the ally gain Evasion Up for 2 turns.
Animation: Depa Billaba strikes target enemy with lightsaber, then calls ally to assist.

Special: Sense the Force (Cooldown 4) (Omega):

Jedi allies have their debuffs dispelled, then they gain 10% Turn Meter and recover 10% of their Max Health for each debuff dispelled.
Animation: Depa Billaba lifts her hand and harnesses the Force, then healing effect occurs.

Special: Sacrifice To Save Others (Cooldown 4) (Omega):
Spoiler
Target Galactic Republic ally (including Depa Billaba) gains the Unique buff Sacrifice, which can't be dispelled or prevented, for 3 turns. Then they dispel their debuffs and take a bonus turn.
Sacrifice: +50% Max Health, Max Protection, and +30% Tenacity and Defense. Enemies can only target this unit, and if this unit is defeated while it has Sacrifice, all living Jedi allies gain Protection Up (30%) until the end of the battle, and recover 40% of their Max Health. This unit cannot be revived if they are defeated while they have Sacrifice, however.
Animation: Depa Billaba raises lightsaber, then holds it in a combat position.

Unique: Honorable Sacrifice (Zeta):

Jedi allies have +20% Evasion and +20 Speed. Whenever a Jedi ally evades an attack, they gain +10 Defense. Whenever an ally gains Sacrifice, all allies gain Foresight for 2 turns, and they have 20% Offense while they have Foresight.
-Zeta: Whenever an ally with Sacrifice is defeated, all enemies are inflicted with Speed Down and Ability Block for 2 turns, which can't be evaded, and all allies gain 30% Turn Meter.

  • I like any kit suggestions that improve Galactic Republic Jedi. This is a fun idea. Is there any source material for the kit? I know she sacrificed herself to save Kanan, so I like the sacrifice, but I don't know anything else that shows her doing anything.

Also probably change the Basic to call a Random ally to assist and If it's her Turn, she selects an ally instead, because imagine you would have to click everytime when she assists/counterattacks

  • Overall a good kit. There ae 2 things that bother me thou, the revive on sacrifice, and her Zeta.
    First of all the revive on Sacrifice. That makes no sense to me (from a design perspective at least). You're telling me that other allies need to be defeated before their sacrifice means something for them? I mean, isn't the entire point of a Sacrifice to prevent others from dying? So that seems a bit counter-productive to me. I think the effects should be for living GL allies, not defeated.
    Second, his zeta. It's fine honestly. With how powerful an effect it is compared to it's requirement it makes sense that the debuffs can be resisted. As otherwise it would be unbalanced. I just think that the fact that they can also be evaded makes it slightly too weak actually. So maybe add that.
    Other than those thou, this kit is pretty nice. Well done.
