Third run? That's all on you.
This. The extremely good hoarders/well prepared got JKL the first time around. After that, everyone knew his requirements. So those that set aside other farms and focused on the requirements got JKL the second time he dropped (yes, even many f2p players). IIRC, that's about 23,000 players that have JKL at this point.
Most people begging for his return now chose to focus on other things after his first appearance. Abs that's fine - but that's their choice, not CG's "fault".
Yes abs are fine.
Weird flex, but K.
I didn't say *whose* abs.
But thanks for noticing."TVF;c-2202672" wrote:

STOP THIS TYPE OF POST!!!!
No it is not on anyone for missing JKL. Stop throwing gas on the fire. Wampa and Hermit Yoda are 3 to 6 month farms a piece. There is NO WAY to have framed them ahead of his second return. I had Hermit Yoda already. I started Wampa when JKL's requirements were announced, and it took me 115 days 7* him... Pouring EVERY bit of GET1 into it.
So no its not on anyone for not meeting a second return date which was the shortest of any Journey Character. Which happened before the 3 to 4 month cadence window detailed by CG in their cadence blog post. Not to mention that only 3 days notice was given on first release and 1 day notice on second return (Note CG said in the same cadence post this would be a week...)

TopHat stated that, "And we want you to feel like you know when you can expect that stuff to return or how you’re going to get that stuff when it comes around, whether it’s the first time or the 100th time." In the above post... JKL has borken the cadence and release pattern set by CG. They can do that its thier game... But we can want his return, we can ask for his return, espically when the pattern that has been set isn't being followed...- Bottom line, people want to play the game. People want the months long investment to payoff and enjoy characters they have farmed for.
JKL is a game changing character. He is also a gateway character to JML. Both of which are key for LS Geo TB, and do really good number in the new Pit Raid.
Why not let those who have chased him enjoy him as well...
If we get him for Christmas that will be very generous. Based on other cadences and the aforementioned reason of keeping JML owners happy, it wouldn't be unexpected to get him back mid-January.
Generous is a strong word when referencing anything to do with this game. I can think of maybe 3 times the devs were truly generous. And seeing as jkl is the only heroic character needed between jml and see, I don't see how it's 'on us'.- crzydroidRetired Hero

Consider that if you didn't have these two finished long ago, you are a new player and your roster is not ready for JKL anyway. "crzydroid;c-2202954" wrote:

Why the hostility? Why? And who are you to say how the game is supposed to be played?
Not to mention my roster is ready for JKL, is ready for JML (once JKL is released). I have gear for them both to R7 them.
(Also a month 1 player, with 4.3 million GP and SKLR already).
I don't get why you are attacking anyone on this forum for asking questions about release of an event that isn't following the release cadence stated by the developer...
All of us that are asking questions are showing support, are looking forward to content within the game, and are looking for clarification... Why attack that?
@CG_Doja_Fett is this really how such questions should be handled?- @Twi please go back and read the post you linked.
Here are some highlights that show they did not break it, and they are following exactly what they said.
Hero’s Journeys
Similar to Legendaries and Mythics, we have a concept of a New and Legacy Hero’s Journey.
The first two runs of a Hero’s Journey we consider New and will give at least a week’s notice before their launch.
Unlike a Legendary or Mythic, when a Hero’s Journey becomes a Legacy event we will not necessarily post it to the Event Calendar at the beginning of the month. However, the intention is that Hero’s Journey events will return roughly every three to four months after they become a Legacy event and that we will give at least a week’s notice before they return to the game. When we announce the return of the Hero’s Journey event, we will post it on the Event Calendar on the forums.
You can see here that first 2 runs are still new, and do not need to follow the 3-4 month timeline, so they didnt break it by launching it 83 days the first time. They may not have given the full notice, so there is that.
Now we are in the Legacy period, which means they will follow the 3-4 month period, so asking now that it is the beginning edge of that period is fine, it will not change the fact that he will launch when they want within the next month, as per the cadence.
It is clear and there is no need for a dev response to this matter as we have the cadence, which has not been broken as far as launch dates. "Kyno;c-2202980" wrote:

Why are you cherry picking what they follow in that cadence?
"The first two runs of a Hero’s Journey we consider New and will give at least a week’s notice before their launch." - This was not followed both times
"...in the initial two runs of the events, we believe players that have invested widely and made preparation for the event should be rewarded for their diligence." - As previously demonstrated two of the key requirements for the event Wampa and Hermt Yoda could not be farmed within the original announcement period and the conclusion of the second appearance. How is that "rewarding for their diligence".
Third, "It is clear and there is no need for a dev response to this matter as we have the cadence"... This is your opinion... Why don't we let the developers make the call?- Thank you Twi for standing up to this. I 100% support you
The elitist attitude around this game disgusts me - We usually see a lot of events in the holiday period. Great chance that he will return then, between Christmas and New Years time frame.
But any answer you hear is just a “best guess”. Those who know won’t tell. Anyone who answers doesn’t really know.
