Disappearing Characters

I was facing a GM team in GAC with my BoM team. Usually a clean kill for me. Suddenly my chars started disappearing after their attacks. No animation, no bar decreases, no nothing. Pretty much some one shot kills that were highly unlikely, and, as mentioned before, didn't follow the usual animations.

Has anyone experienced this before?
