With most of the speculation centering around this new GL using Empire characters to unlock and synergize with, and rightfully so given the first stage of requirements, I'm wondering if we aren't seeing the forest through the trees. The Empire was only one stage of Palpatine's Reign. In the current requirements, we have only one character that is exclusive to the Empire in lore. Also, for a character named "Sith Eternal Emperor" it seems like Sith would be his primary faction. I would not be surprised if any further requirements omitted Empire and his main team after acquiring him becomes more dependant on Sith.

So work on Maul, sidios, dooku for starters

Or just 7* the sith and empire and see where the cg random event generator sends us all..

CG could take this many different ways. Just have to wait and see.

They’re gonna go whichever route forces people to spend the most. I’d be surprised if you need mostly Sith because aside from a few of the useless characters it’s a pretty useful faction that a lot of ppl already have geared up. There are way more throwaway empire characters that very few people have geared up

Really? How savage do at high relic? I like his kit, He is in my list to gear up for a long time

Like others said Savage can really trip people up but when you get to where I am in the game where G12 is considered low gear, Savage isn't that great. I'm happy I did it because it's more fun to me to do that kind of thing, but unless you put elite mods on him (and he's just not good enough to warrant that) he's pretty meh still overall

Thank you, professor! :D o:) Nah I know that stuff but just find it silly and uncreative. Palpatine's survival doesn't make sense to me after all and I prefer the Old Republic stories anytime.

Except Malak and Traya, especially Malak needed for GL Palp makes no sense whatsoever.
If you're gonna pull the "Sith Marauder card", I'd say Marauder makes sense along with Sith Assassin as they are Sith and "generic Sith", if you will. Tons of them throughout the Sith legacy.
Malak has no connection to Emperor Palpatine. Want a difficult to acquire character required? GAS would be a lot more lore friendly.

Yeah we do. He just wants peace. It may be through force.... but hes not such a bad guy when you get to know him.

I mean he can recharge your phone or take down a fleet... what a guy

Traya and the sith trio are a good counter team to Geo Bugs

And Mon Mothma/Rebel Fighters. But people are too reliant on those two. If you put one of the teams in the front row & one in the back you can often get a defensive hold.

I'm not saying people shouldn't gear up Traya - they should. But it's interesting how the new presence of MM squads is changing the landscape.

Sith Marauder is a generic sith, just like First Order Sith Trooper, Marauder makes sense because the Sith Eternal is a cult of Siths so generic toons like Sith Empire Trooper, Sith Assassin are fair game. Visas Marr is so out of left field, and she has no connection or link with Palpatine even if you applied six degrees of separation

That are much more logical and sensible choices to pick from the remaining five

Darth maul, darth sidius and savage aren’t that great so people use to have them undergeared. I’d like to see all 3 as req for SEE

They’ll go Empire just to get people to panic spend the most. Sith would make sense but CG will go mainly Empire.
