Yes, I often target people because of their name, so long as it also gives me a reasonably good jump in the ranks. I wouldn't target Jar Jar but I do tend to go for anyone who has one of the large guild co-operatives in their name (even BHG, although my own guild is also part of that group). I just think it is seriously uncool to have a guild identifier in your name. I also target anyone who has a religious reference in their name - that isn't appropriate and they deserve to be knocked back.

i would check the speed of your tfp and if it was less than mine i would go after you because you have no taunter...

First thing I notice is rank, is it a big enough jump to matter. Then squad, can I beat that. Power if deciding between two different EP leads. I check mods depending on squad composition. If TFP is faster than Yoda, I jump on it, if not I avoid. Name would be the very last thing on my checklist.

So no, I don't think you're being targeted by name alone. People will want to know whether they can beat you before wasting an attack, just because of your name. If had to guess, running EP without SHT is letting people with faster TFP's ability block EP right off the back for an easy win. I'd attack that squad composition before reading your name.

I usually target the highest ranked person that I can fight with a lineup I know I can beat. There's also certain lineups that I'll target just cause I don't like the characters. Will attack palp teams a lot, especially if palp is slow and doesn't have a tank protecting him (like you). There's also one whale on my shard who was the first to start running chaze and put his first zeta on jyn. I targeted that dude every opportunity i could because that team just made it seem like he felt entitled to number one by running the sexy Lamborghini lineup and it annoyed me.

I don't target people who try to do anything different. I saw one person running a team with zeta chewie in the top 20. I'll attack that person once (just to see how it is) and then never again as long as zhewie is in that lineup. There's also one other person who for awhile was the only other person in our top 20 running an Anakin, ahsoka, qui gon team. Never attacked that person until they switched ahsoka out for kylo.

Tl;dr I could care less about someone's name and more about the characters they run
