Agreed. There is absolutely no reason for this or any event to be RNG nonsense. Grinding (or paying) to get them all to tier 5 only for half the battles to not only use characters that are useless on their own (Hondo and Sana) but making it so RNG dependent is ridiculous. People will be like “it’s a sKiLL iSsUe!!” No it isn’t. Relic 5 with Zetas should not be knocked out in 3 hits unless you manage to dodge. There is no set strategy. There is no stat threshold for mods. It’s just luck and it’s absolutely insulting.
Totally agree. I even did as much as maxed out mods for him and took him to R6 to see if that did the trick but it’s still purely based on the RNG of if you get enough dodges or not. It’s frustrating and silly. And Aphra feels very off track for other things I was working towards for other GLs. Just not really worth the time/effort (or money) like in my case unfortunately.

mod strategy? you can have 100k health and protection you still be one tap you can have 300+ speed same crap you need her 2nd zeta (I Don't Want to Kill You Per Se) to slow down one of 3 hitters since they stuffed up and put zetas in LSB.. notice all guides have the zeta and not a single one without it? Then it's all RNG on who misses for the first 10 buffs
