You lost me right there.

They have never been a top mechanic, but they are extremely useful when used correctly.

They helped make speed counter teams, because any fast team without regen will just destroy themselves.

Vader - wampa is an awesome combo.

OR teams are rocking out the easy 15+ stacks.

This makes them good in raids, TB, TW, and GA. With some creativity arena also.

We do see some elements on the higher end that limit thier usefulness, but I'm not seeing why they would need a rework or touch up at all.

I disagree. The sith raid is really the only one to count as the other two can be soloed with fairly standard teams.

Hsith DoTs are totally useless because of the debuff resistance.

DoT users are generally always better placed in other teams than in a DoT focused squad (eg Vader, Palpatine’s leas is better)
