Double Cleanse Teams!

I am seeing this a lot on the top 10, I run a Zaul team and the top ten are flooded with Rex leads, Chaze, DN, GK/Kylo this team seems rather exceptional against Zaul cause you can't land any debuf...

Why am I constantly being matched up against players with MUCH higher GP? I have under 1 Mil GP with zero GLs and only 3 characters above Gear Lvl 11, yet I continue to be matched up against players ...
