Where was the countdown timer?
We all planned to "enjoy" the double drops for 4 days, so bad surprise this morning!
Not all of us are native English speaking, so it is not so clear that there is a so big difference between "to" and "until" or similar.
In my language if I say that I will be on holiday from 22 to 25 it means that I will come back to work on 26!!!
They should have written instead "double drops on 22, 23 and 24 September"......
In English language 22-25 means 22ND to 25th. You have a better understanding of the English language then the folks that write these announcements for this game.
Thank you mate :-)- The double drop event appeared in Events screen and it had a countdown timer like any other event.
Anyway, from the countdown I was expecting it to end on 24th at midnight, but guess what? It lasted one more hour so I was able to roll the dice once again on 25th between midnight and 1 A.M.
I don't know if that was the case for all time zones. "FitzChivalry;c-1284402" wrote:

I'm completely sure there was not a timer in the event screen!
At least not in iOS version.- Oh... this explains why I have an A to Z encyclopedia at home, but it only goes up to Y
I should have bought the A through Z encyclopedia :-) "KorbinAthens_82;c-1284330" wrote:
@CG_Kozispoon Double Drops were announced that they would go through the 25th. However I no longer have them showing in my game not do several of my guildmates. Can we get an explanation as to why they aren't there please?
The bolded is incorrect. It clearly says "to". If it had said "through", in American English, that would include the 25th. I realize British English makes no such distinction (hence the confusion) - but the developers are not in England, they are based in the US."Phat_Midichlorian;c-1284442" wrote:

I might be wrong but isn't there a countdown timer for ANY event?
At least in Android version.- Me and 2 friends created our game accounts at the exact same city and we ended up having different daily refreshes. I have my daily refresh at 01:00 AM and my friends have it at 00:00.. it didnt bother us because we didnt really mind but what happend the last day when the double drop event ended is very unfair. What happend is that double drop event was ending for all 3 of us at 01:00 AM, which means that my both friends where able to use an extra hour of the event as an extra 4rth day of this event using cantina refreshes and i couldnt because when my refresh time came at 01:00 the event was already over. So my point is how is it fair that others where able to use 4 days of refreshes on this event while others where only able to use 3 days? If you are able to give me a proper answer to that im fine but to be honest i think there isnt really a good explanation to that, its just unfair.
- Why did they advertise double drops on first order characters 9/22 through 9/25 and have it end 9/24?!
- It was a 3-day thing for the weekend. Started on the Daily cycle reset on the morning of 22nd, ended with the reset of this morning.
There was a reminder icon on the right side of their main Cantina screen.
There was a countdown timer in iOS under the 2X symbol. If you tapped it, it brought up this larger message.
