Double drops not so much

Well duh-doy, of course 100% drop rate is better... The regular drop rate is 33% (or thereabouts) so double drops should lead to an expected value of 66% drop rate

Just curious (and I may have misunderstood), but a Double Drop only affects the number of items dropped (2 instead of 1, 4 instead of 2, etc), not the average success rate of the drop, correct?
