Draw,draw,draw

Ship timer seriously needs to go,every match against Mace and his sh..ty animations is sucking the life out of ship battles...wtf is there a time limit for anyways?At least up it to 6 minutes..im tired of this and I like this aspect of the game.
  • The timer is because they made it so if you're in a battle, offence or defence, you can't be attacked or attack, because you take the higher rank on a win, and if there were no timer, someone would just sit in a match to lock themselves in, as a very safe bet.

    It does need addressed though, hopefully in the QoL update.
  • I can't battle Mace,every battle is a draw with the animations,invincibility ability, and reinforcements.I can finish battles against Tarkin and AS win or lose.

  • Ship timer is 7.5 minutes so putting it to 6 minutes like you said would just make your life worse...
  • I avoid Mace cause of how long the battles take. Mace versus Mace must be fun...
  • The way to beat it is to use auto when you can't attack so you speed up animations :smile:

    I tried it myself and it works, but it seems way to "tryhard" and requires too much effort
  • Believe it or not, draws mean you're evenly matched even with the infamous RNG. I finish anywhere between the top 5 and 20 and I draw against Home One and Executrix just as much as Endurance. If I have a problem with draws it's that I can kill the last ship with three or four seconds left, but the death animations cause a draw. This doesn't happen in the 'ground' arena.

    You think the Endurance is frustrating? Try playing a full dark side team when everything of yours seems target locked and FOTP is strafing constantly. Or maybe having Home One heal a target lock right after you finally get one(hooray rng). They all have advantages that can make you curse not to mention adapting tactics for different fleet compositions.

    However, since this thread started with a complaint I'm curious how many others have seen Biggs not taunt or heal or both when you inflict target lock?

    And for Pete's sake... Shards for Rex's ship need to show up more than once a week (very slight exaggeration).

    This is a bug that happens when you TL a re-enforcement ship. Basically Biggs only taunts if you TL one of the original 5.

  • Ya,I started to auto on my offturns and ship animations,this speeds it up tremendously and I'm able to finish it now.I have to watch tho bc I have Rens ship and the AI will mess him up ability wise.
