I think the real issue that w/ DC's isn't the Raw Power level of them.
It's what they do to the team.
Defensive Based DC's that force the team to TO or flat out Win w/o a lot of luck & just the right team are pretty lame.
It's not even something like, "Well I have 1 too, so its Ok." The real issue is Defensive Crons can in theory be used over & over again.
They turn the game play into "Impassable Wall" instead of "Creative battle to score the highest points".
Offensive Crons on the other hand seem to never really get complained about.
No one complains about the Sid Cron. It does wonders to allow a single toon to perform at a higher level & thus squeak in a couple "Short" points in that "Creative Battle of Points" I mentioned above.
Same concept w/ Omi's that do the same thing (Wampa/Fulcrum).
People like them, IMO, because they let you try something new.
A Heavy Regen or full on "Smash" cron on the other hand pretty much won't ever be seen in play by the owner, instead it gets dumped on Defense & walla, Protect the Back Wall, full denial of any points or game play options.
The ReyCron if toned down would have been a great "Pump up SLKR against more teams on offense".
But given SHE already is doing that & now the total blow out in "SMASH power" it puts out you have something that becomes annoying on Defense, which as stated is never fun.
