Droids fight back kind of sucks

I wasn't around for this event the first time it came through, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. I didn't have a great deal of droid power when it was announced (HK47, IG86, and Magna Guard) so I decided to build up my droids since I really like the idea of a Jawa team. During the time of preparations I managed to unlock General Grievous, IG-88, and gear and mod them to the best of my ability (leaving Magna Guard at level 1 due to lack of credits). Granted, being F2P means they weren't very well modded and only leveled to about average team level of mid-fifties but I managed to barely get by defeating Tier IV twice. Which yielded me a grand total of 2 Dathcha shards and 1 Jawa Engineer...Then I see "Refresh 250 Crystals" and it was then that I realized I should probably just count myself lucky for getting the 1 JE shard....

So, I missed out on at least 50 Chief Nebit shards by unlocking IG88 (who at the power level I used him at couldn't even survive the first round Jawa AoE, haha), missed out on several Dathcha shards by getting Shard Shop tokens for Grievous (though I only got 10 GG shards from the shard shop), and nevermind all the credits and gear I wasted trying to enhance my droids for this "event".

In short, yeah, it kinda sucks.

You will then be happy to now that when the eowk forrest moon assult event comes back you will have the droids ready ;-) (and no, I do not know when, but capgasp mentioned it on reddit earlier)...apart from that, then no i agree that the rewards are less than expected...i will do it again tomorrow, regardless, it is still free jawa shards...
