- More like Meta vs Meta. In fact, droids were so meta, that GQJ team were created specifically to counter droids. The only way to kill them before they kill you, was to bring as much fast heroes as you could, before poggle triggers apocalypse.
Also @CG_JohnSalera : Were thisupdate supposed to address the one shotting problem? As soon as the game started, GS brought Rey to the verge of death...If that wasn't Rey but was Ventress, then again we have the same problem that heroes die before they get a turn. Also those droid team, tend to have poggle as leader and Poe instead of HK47. What if Poe exposes someone and then GS or Ig86 calls assist? Ain't that one shot? And even if there wasn't one shots but 2 shots, how can a slow hero team cope with that kind of damage? Droids don't only have burst, but insane DPS too. "CPMP;313818" wrote:

Pre update, GS and ig86 were pulling some crazy 10k crits, along with some 9k+ assist by ig88 +expose damage. From that total damage, half of it were just a waste. I'm just stunned about how adding a 2nd layer of protection would prevent one shotting by these heroes. At least now the assisted attacks aren't a waste, lol.
This protection change caused a huge backlash to slow/low dmg heroes. There is no way they can cope with that kind damage now.- @CPMP - One of the goals of the update was to mitigate / reduce the one-shot kills. Not entirely eliminate them. Under the right circumstances of attacker / defender / buffs / debuffs it is still possible.

Our #1 has the same lineup but GS instead of 5s. Impossible for me either...- Well all teams have a weakness. Ig88 is the key, imo. Kill him and the game is on. Once people learn how to do that before his first turn, droids match is now a game. I have a seven star 88 hiding behind an RG, and AI manages to do it every time, so far. I still haven't seen what kind of damage my 88 does, yet, since starring him and finally trying to get him in the lineup.
This team still defends ok. So I think it is just a matter of time before most players figure out what the AI already does, regularly. Smash 88. He gets pitiful protection and health steal doesnt work unless he gets a turn. - IMO droid with poe is easier to beat. If u use RG and qgj, you just whether the storm, sacrifice your tank, and offense up/detaunt then smash droids start8ng with 86.. Make qgj nonleader. If they have poe/poggle u will be on life support, but if you get off an aoe debuff as well, u will be in the mix. Minus 86 and after 88 used his special, theres no more dps on this team. Leave poe alive if there is any chance of another assist attacker pulling him.
Also I think GS is much less of a threat post update. 86 hits a lot harder. - Droids protected by RG is the hardest thing I've come up against. Anything else I feel is pretty beatable.

THANK YOU! Well said. The new change is difficult to grasp, but it seems to be doing it's job. There's a few more modifications needed, but the overall patch to balance the game is a great addition.
