Difference is yoda was "training" other jedi in that event. Obviously darth sidious would never train a group so it has to be an event where the rebels or jedi have to defeat him or remove him from power.

- Why exactly do people think that this is the same format as the Yoda event? No one has announced the rewards for this event, so it doesn't really make sense to assume that Emperor Palpatine would be the reward for this event.
I'm not saying that that's not what this is, but don't jump the gun and assume that Palpatine shards will be the reward. Maybe it's just another rando event, or maybe it will reward a high-value rebel character, or maybe it will simply be terrible and get pulled.
The last "major" event was Empire toons killing Ewoks and the rewards for that were primarily credits. It makes sense for Empire characters to go up against Ewoks because, well, everyone hates Ewoks and wants to kill them all anyways, but especially the Empire, so why wouldn't it make sense for Rebel toons to go up against Empire toons for credits?

oh ya lol i forgot, i just feel like lobot needs a rework because he is useless and probably is in bottom five characters.- tbh could care less about how hard he is to get. I want him to be the anti rey . Seriously tired if them hope he has an attack that cannot be avoided and stuns and gives speed down to toon

Why all this love for the light side? We already had to farm Jedi for Yoda, then Rebels to fight emperor and now rebels to fight emperor agian for emperor shards? That seems lame. Then everyone can just unlock him. They should really have the Emperor be unlocked with ONLY empire or sith characters like Yoda model.
Honestly many people got off the hook on the Ewok battle because they allowed you to have droids too. Emperor needs to be an Empire only event, well if they included Sith I wouldn't be mad as it could make sense.
Ewok, scoundrel and Droids revenge...that's 3 already.
