Emperor's Demise

Hey guys,

So im a fairly new player and have never experienced the event before, so im here looking for some help, regarding unlocking palatine.

So i have AA(lead), Lando, Biggs, Wedge, and Baze (https://swgoh.gg/u/jiggly/collection/), do you think i am getting close to beating Tier 5 with this setup, and if so, how far am i from beating Tier 6?

I am a P2W player and spending crystals so i think i will have 6* for all when the event arrives.

    I'd say gear baze to at least 7 and possibly switch wedge to lead and you may be able to beat the 6*

    Gear is important, gear Baze up... same with the others. Also try Lando lead if Ackbar doesn't do it, the extra damage could be the difference. Same with wedge lead, the health gain has won me more battles than either AA or Lando.

    Thanks for all the replies guys, i think getting Baze to 7* would be a reach considering it would take many 2500 packs, what gear level should i aim for ?

    I think you will have no problems unlocking him. With Baze on the autotaunt to soak all the RG attacks, stun won't be a problem and with all that firepower it won't take long to burn down Palp. Ackbar lead is good for using the special event ability (is there one? I don't recall), and for setting up Lando for the double-down on his AOE. Get another star on Ackbar and g7 on Baze and you can probably get 6* Palpentine as well.

    I think he was referring to taking Baze to Gear 7, not 7*

    Yes at least g7, but with him at g7 you should have no problem beating the 6*

    Why? I cleared it a long time ago with AA, St Han, Luke, HRSc and Biggs. Maybe he can do it with the Soldier in place of Biggs.

    I wouldn't run AA as lead IMO, I would run either Wedge or Lando. AA's benefit is when a rebel uses a non-attack to have a rebel assist. Your roster is comprised of attackers.

    You have a good squad for the event though - probably no problem unlocking him. 6* isn't so bad, you just need the stars and a little extra gear. 7* - totally different.
