So, one thing i wanted to suggest for the next era of characters is please can we at least get some synergy going? Mostly because, this current era, we have a massive problem in the challenges, being that our team has literally no synergy with each other. I have 5 characters who can't take on an equally levelled team of 5, because there is literally no synergy whatsoever. As a suggestion, please make Era's themed, much like they were before. Your suggestions are nice, but they still lack real synergy for the most part. If i was to suggest 7 characters from Legends with some synergy: Legends Imperial Remnants
Dark Empire Luke Skywalker
Tags: Dark Side, Attacker, Leader, Jedi, Imperial Remnant, Imperial Trooper
Concept: Luke is a heavy attacker who hits hard and fast. Against non-rebels, he just hits normally. Against Rebel characters, he inflicts Torture on them, but he can't defeat Rebel characters. Instead, if they would die, they heal back up to 100% HP and Protection and escapes the battle. He has an ability that starts on cooldown that is like Nihilus' instant defeat, except it forces enemies to escape. His leadership ability is all about buffing non-Leader Imperial Remnants and punishes Rebel enemies, especially Commander Leia (Much like how the Inquisitors leadership abilities are designed to counter specific Jedi) He has the Trooper tag mostly to help his synergy with leading Troopers, much like Iden.
Joruus C'Baoth
Tags: Dark Side, Support, Leader, Jedi, Imperial Remnant
Concept: Joruus is a non-combattant type pretty much like an Imperial Remnant version of Mon Mothma, he cant be targetted, his abilities are about debuffing his enemies and calling allies to assist, giving them Counter Attacks and giving them bonus turns. He can summon an ally in the form of Luuke Skywalker, who is Commander Luke Skywalker in ally form. His leadership ability makes him immune to stun and turn-meter manipulation of any kind allows him to lead Imperial Troopers, Unaligned Force Users and Jedi, with him giving them an unremovable, uncopiable buff called "Spartii Clone" that makes them stronger, but sets their speed to 0 and immune to turn meter manipulation from any source other than Joruus, with Joruus gaining a load of speed based on the number of Spartii Clone allies. When he's alone, he escapes.
Captain Gilad Pellaeon
Tags: Dark Side, Healer, Empire, Imperial Remnant, Imperial Trooper
Concept: Thrawn's left-hand man and the one he trusted more than any other. He works as a lifter for Grand Admiral Thrawn, so long as Thrawn is in the Leader slot. Assisting Thrawn whenever he attacks or counter attacks and always takes a bonus turn after Thrawn does. His abilities heal Empire allies and he can revive non-Leader Empire characters (Calling in reinforcements). Kinda like a Mara Jade for Thrawn.
Rukh
Tags: Neutral, Tank, Imperial Remnant, Scoundrel
Concept: Rukh has a lot of synergy with both Thrawn AND Commander Leia. When Thrawn is in the leader slot, he gains the Empire tag, when Commander Leia is the leader, he gains the Rebel tag and his abilities become very focused on protecting and keeping her around. Commander Leia and Thrawn gain Guard when they are in the Leader slot and he is around. He is like Cara Dune in that he switches between damage heavy and defense heavy depending on the Leader, being Thrawns assassin and doing a lot of damage, while honouring the Mal'Ary'Ush and defending the Spawn of the Savior. If the one he is guarding is defeated, he gains a bonus turn where he can only use an ability that deals massive damage to one target and then defeats himself and cannot be revived.
Inquisitor Jerec:
Tags: Dark Side, Tank, Leader, Empire, Imperial Remnant, Inquisitorius, Unaligned Force User,
Concept: Jerec is an Inquisitor that gains stacks of Power of the Valley whenever he is hit by enemies with Purge. When he reaches 10 stacks, he gains the unique buff "Apotheosis" which heals him rapidly and makes him very hard to kill. Being that all Inquisitors have a leadership ability who's main purpose is "Punishing one specific Jedi leader" i think it's only fitting that, his Leader ability punishes Kyle Katarn by reducing damage that Inquisitorius allies take from out of turn attacks, potentially working like Padme with her "Everyone gains a stack of Bonus Protection whenever an enemy attacks out of turn." He also has a Capital Ship, Super Star Destroyer Vengeance that punishes Jedi enemies and buffs Imperials, especially Inquisitorius ships.
Raptor Trooper:
Tags: Dark Side, Attacker, Empire, Imperial Remnant, Imperial Trooper
Concept: The Raptor's are the troopers of Warlord Zsinj, specifically tasked with capturing secret technology for the Warlord as well as spreading fear. The Raptor works like Grand Master Yoda, hitting all enemies and gaining a copy of their buffs, throwing a stack of Fear on the target, before sharing those buffs among Empire and Imperial Remnant Allies. He also gives speed and power buffs if all of his allies are Imperial Troopers at the start of a battle.
Imperial Officer Cody:
Tags: Dark Side, Attacker, Leader, Empire, Imperial Remnant, Imperial Trooper, Clone Trooper
Concept: In Canon, Cody turned on the Empire, but in Legends, he stayed loyal, serving as trainer for the empires Stormtroopers. Cody was seen by his troops as a bit of a ball-buster, but he got results, surviving all the way through to the Warlords era, one account had him serving as the chief training officer for new Stormtroopers in the Pentastar Allignment. He has most of his abilities as Clone Commander, but apply to Imperial Troopers allies instead of Clone Troopers, calling allies to attack, dealing mass damage by calling in airstrikes,
Honestly, I would love to see a wave about the specific Warlord era of Legends. Make "Zsinj's Empire" "Pentastar Allignment" "Empire of the Hand" "Great Maldrood" into their own specific tags.
