Is this a yoda style event? Where u get the 7* by the end?

No. Android users get a free pack that unlocks a 3-star K-2SO unit and some resources to level him up. If you play this event and refresh a bit, you can upgrade him to a full 7-stars by the time the event ends. The two unique things about it are that you can use any units (eg: bring your PvP squad if you want to) and we force-add K-2SO into your ally slot and let you use him even if you don't own him, and he scales up based on your level and what you're fighting, so you get to "play with the new toy" before you have him fully upgraded.

Just double checking. No IoS user can see the event, android only. Is this supposed to happen?

Affirmative. Android only. (Similar to how iOS got the Chirpa event a few months ago.)

Lol yeah it would be cool if iOS got something cool because let's be honest, a Chirpa event is not as exciting as the potential to get a free 7 star K-2SO. I'm sure Apple might be one reason why iOS cannot have a special event but I am not sure.

Sounds like a great opportunity for Android users! Hopefully I won't get decimated by this character because I do not have an Android device! :P

From time to time there will be things that are platform exclusive. I have exactly zero control over that. To directly answer this question since it's coming up a lot: there is not an "iOS version" of this situation right now. When the Chirpa event launched, there wasn't an Android event. There is no iOS exclusive event this month. Although I do believe there will be a pack for iOS similar to the K-2SO Android pack, but again not my wheelhouse so don't quote me on that. (Also, I remind you all that this forum is NDA covered which allows me to say things plainly like this.) I empathize with iOS users, I play on my iPhone myself. It sucks I/we don't get the event, but that's just how it works sometimes.

Back to the topic at hand. What I'm looking for with this thread is feedback from those of you who can play the event. If the "force a unit into the ally slot" tech I'm using here is well received, we're definitely looking to use it a lot more. But since this is the first time we're using it, I need people's immediate thoughts on it. What I am hoping is that this allows people to see how a K-2SO fits into their existing squads, so you can make an informed decision about his usefulness. The event should start unlocking in the next few hours. Thanks in advance for any and all replies.

Those two get their own event in January, I'm doing the back and forth with all the stakeholders now nailing down the final design. It won't be platform exclusive. It won't be "Yoda style". I'm trying something new I hope people enjoy. There will of course be more info about that once it's closer to release.
