I believe CG got there first taste of player exploitation with the JKR event. Forcing players to 7 star 4 specific toons in a very short period of time set the world on fire. It seems a new layer of monetization has been added to each legendary toon. It didn’t surprise me at all that CG would try and drag it out as long as possible for players to get these legendary toons.
