Event Token Consumption

Just had the game freeze up doing an Ultimate fight w/ Rey. Massive slowdown and then goes to a stop.

Instead of focusing on the crash itself, man, it'd be nice if you didn't take event tokens unless the event was successful. Kinda like fleet capital ship fights. If you fail, you can still try again, if you win, you have to pay the cost to refresh the node.

So let me pay to open the node for action until a win is processed. Do we REALLY need punitive damages for a loss? Especially the cost already paid just to get that far? I mean we just farmed quite a few char's up to relics just to unlock the right to TRY the fights. The fights are easy enough, the crashes though.

Demoralizing for the player and it doesn't really need to be.

Congratulations! You've just spent a few months gathering all the requirements for your new GL! Now, please enjoy a big pause on the celebration until you can college 420 tickets at about 30-40 per day so you can unlock it and then collect another 840 tickets at the the same rate to get their ultimate!

JML was the worst! Get a bunch of toons to get JKL so you can get another 16 or something to JML - then get the ticket system as a punishment for getting hiim.
  • CG just doesn't care. The first two GLs came out two years ago now, and game crashes resulting in lost tickets was already brought up as a concern then. But they can't be bothered to do anything about it

I've got no problems w/ the Event Tokens themselves. My reward for leveling the characters was newly leveled characters. I get play out of them (and now even more w/ Omi's improving their usability). This isn't intended to be a dig at CG at all.

I'm just trying to illustrate a case of serious "feelsbad". Literally everything else can stay the same, just only take my tokens if I win. I'm on GL 6/6, this isn't going to be a big issue for me going forward, but it's a small "token" (lulz) of appreciation to your player base.

The challenges themselves are extremely easy, it's not like legitimate failure occurs frequently.
