It does solve the problem because calling BH to assist no longer requires breach. This means that Piett can use the mass assist special on turn 1 no matter whether there's a fast BH ship on the field or not. Which ships outpace Executor is now irrelevant.
And this?the terrible Ai targeting problem(for example in mirror match it almost always targeting HT).
That is a good thing. You don't want mirror matches to be a pain, so if the enemy opens with a few bad decisions in mirror matches, that's desirable: other fleets will still struggle, but mirror matches are less frustrating.
I mean, the only reason that mirrors aren't 50/50 tossups every time is because the AI isn't as smart and strategic as the average player. They could make the AI more complex, and with all the data CG has, they could better predict what move is most likely to generate a win than any human could. But would you really want to have the first Executor to #1 stay #1 for months straight with no positions switching during the day? Of course not.
Let defending Execs target HT. It's better that way. - JediMasterAlan4 years agoNot applicable

About the 192 spd problem I mean if breach was applied it deals more damage not cuz the “need to apply breach first”problem.

CG, while I understand that you don't want your shiny new toy to be beaten by older fleets, you could have at least mentioned that you just changed the Executor AI drastically...
This update happened during my fleet payout hour and now none of the counters (that were already very rng dependent and sketchy) work anymore, which made me lose out on crystals. I do understand that you wanted to buff the new ship. I don't like it but I accept it. But I'm more annoyed that you didn't mention any of the AI changes in your update post, I think that's pretty shady. Fair enough that you want to change/buff the AI, but at least let us know WHAT you buffed and say that you did. I think it'd be fair towards the player base to at least get a break down the AI changes from you, so that we know what we're dealing with...
Did you....read the update post?
Yes, I did. There's of course a chance that I missed something, but I doubt it. Feel free to show me all the AI changes they did to the Executor that I might have missed.

The following changes were made to Executor:
Crew Ability "Vader's Bounty" will stipulate at max rank (level 8) that Tank allies will take 50% reduced damage from out-of-turn attacks.
Special Ability 1 "Breach of Protocols" will now call all Bounty Hunter allies to assist. From level 1-6 of the ability, Bounty Hunter allies will deal -25% damage when they assist. At level 7 of the ability, the damage penalty will be removed and Bounty Hunter allies will assist at full damage. At max level of the ability (level 8 ) the ability will dispel all Tenacity Up from enemies, Bounty Hunter allies will deal +10% damage; if the enemy is Breached, Bounty Hunter allies will deal +25% damage instead.
These are not AI changes, these are kit/mechanics changes. I'm talking about AI. Executor now focuses on different targets from previously. It was coded to focus on certain targets previously, now it focuses on others. It also uses certain skills more "freely" that were previously only used during certain circumstances. So they basically made the AI smarter just to make counters even less likely to happen. And while I have no huge problem with that (as I understand that this is how things work here), I'm annoyed that they didn't even mention those "hidden" AI changes in their update post. It also happened to update these changes during my PO. They need to update the game at some point obviously, so it's bound to mess with someone's PO. It just happened to be mine, but that's my personal salt, I'm not blaming CG for that, I was just unlucky.
Have you ever seen them comment on AI changes?
Also the timing "messed" with one day of po.
They obviously never mention specific details, but yes. Just recently for example they mentioned in a post that they "changed SLKR's behavior when Fives/GAS are present". One may or may not like those changes, but at least they mentioned them so that everyone was aware. Here they just made stealth AI changes and never said a word about it, which is not cool. - Disruptor924 years agoSeasoned Ace

I mean the ship's been out for less than two weeks. You wouldn't even have a big enough sample size to prove the AI was changed at all. And the post did say they changed the Slave 1 AI anyway, which could have had a whole host of repercussions to automatic fights anyway. Be mad all you want but your reasons are weird
The sample size was definitely big enough to realize that changes were done to the AI. I've done 100+ battles myself and there's hundreds, if not thousands of battles reported from guildies, friends and shard mates combined. And you have tons of Youtube videos showing the battles. There were certain patterns during battles that happened every single time given the same circumstances, because it was programmed a certain way. Now it doesn't anymore. So you're telling me that something that happened the exact same way thousands of times and now after the update suddenly never does, is random? You can tell after like 1-2 battles with any fleet that the AI got changed 100%. Everyone who says otherwise has either never done any testing or is just straight up talking nonsense/lying. - NyKynoe4 years agoNot applicable

Stars?

@Server21 - Sewpot4 years agoNot applicableI still get beat by 4* executor vs my 7*. Even with my r8 boba,bossk,and IG. And enemy has r1 RC and r5 the rest.
The words the devs used to describe this ship are waaay different then what I would use.
Thx CG I really really hope you are still looking at the data are have more fixing in store. - omkz24 years agoSeasoned VanguardAre you seriously crying that Executor is able to beat Executor?
- Sewpot4 years agoNot applicableAbsolutely.

You must be fun. I guess the fact that 7* executor is much harder to beat by non executor than 4/5/6* is not enough to compensate crystals investment? The solution you suggest would make this game much more P2W as without spending crystals it takes 2 years to get 7* ship
While we are on this topic why R5 Negotatior is able to beat R8 Negotatior? Such a cheap move, they should patch it too. How about the fact that JML can be beaten by SEE? It takes much more time to farm JML than SEE - omkz24 years agoSeasoned Vanguard

@Server21
I was beaten by Nego - ETA/ HT/ Ahsoka starting.
@Kyno
My executor is 7 stars, r7 HT; r5 RC; r5 XB
All 6 dot mods on my pilots and theirs
Not that I support Executor being unbeatable but have you tried with IG instead of XB?
