Faction Realignment

So, just looking at some characters since the introduction of new factions, and I think some need some units need tags added.

If Maz is a UFU so should Churrit

Rey GL should be a Jedi since she literally says "I am all the Jedi" and killing SEE is easily her trials. Just like Obi killing Darth Maul promoted him to Jedi Knight. Her predecessor toon is Rey Jedi Training...only natural for GL to be Jedi.

Jawas, Tuskens, most of the pirates, should all be neutral with no alignment. Just like Hondo. They deal with both light and dark sides and do what is best for themselves.

Why is Boba Scion of Jango should not be a Bounty Hunter anymore. He should be Netrual as well, and should also have the Mandalorian tag. Nit giving him that tag was a miss at making him a better overall toon and also strengthens the Mandos.

I know CG loves to not do things by the lore and Canon, but I feel like these are all necessary and since the game has changed, these tools should change too. Just my opinion. Thanks for reading!

Hey, don't shoot the messenger.
Yes, CG has some idea in mind with tags and what they think works. Players may disagree. It also ends up making things nonsensical from a lore perspective sometimes. But it's always been this way, and CG have made up their minds, so there's no use in driving yourself crazy over it.

He literally tells Krrsantan, "Take it from an ex-bounty hunter". He isn't a BH anymore.
If balance is the excuse, i dont believe CG is right and could just put more thought into units and factions to come up with ways to make them viable without wrecking the balance of the game or ruining the Lore. The youtubers talk all the time about how to fix this. CG just doesn't care about lore or what us nerds actually want and they enjoy being able to do what they please. Like seriously, they had to put Pirates in the ORDER 66 Raid?? WHAT?? That doesnt even make a little bit of sense. And give it a faction tag?? To top it iff, they give us Hondo as a GL instead obvious better choices??? Darth Bane is a conquest character but Hondo is a GL? That's really just CG showing their fanboy and sticking their middle finger at us. We love the game and we play because the kits are well thought out most times so I'll give CG flowers there. However, some stuff is just flat out dumb and obvious.

Fair enough, you’re right CG isn’t going to change anything. Plus it’s not THAT aggravating, just a bit on an eyebrow raise at worst. So yeah I agree no big deal, but I thought I’d add my two cents to OP’s post since I happened to feel the same way.

Rey isn't a Jedi in TFA.

Also the game has never been intended to be lore accurate- game mechanics will always overide any lore.

We have always known why these tags arent given to certain characters, you are either just igorant to that or choose to ignore it to suit your point. Either way you are wrong.

We’re not talking TFA, nobody has mentioned TFA at all. But she IS a Jedi in Episode 9, yet she doesn’t get that tag. Not sure where you got TFA from.
Yeah that was basically the consensus we came to on this thread. CG will prioritize “gameplay” and make nonsensical lore choices in the process. Not a big deal, but definitely worth some discussion IMO.
