Its pretty much crystal clear from their post that only if you didnt complete it you get shards.

They've never done this before and it's somewhat buried in the update notes lol relax

It's still unclear whether it would allow people who already played the event last time around to earn another 50 shards. The update notes say:
If you didn’t complete Fennec’s Marquee event the first time around, you’ll get another chance to play as the infamous bounty hunter.

Eh… I wouldn’t say crystal. Fairly clear, but could go either way.

What’s really interesting is the amount of Fennec shards they’re trying to give us. Marquee, Pack, Bonus Calender, Bonus Pack with the calender, now a Bonus Marquee?

Just imagine the cash grab they can make a ton of money from re-running marquee event's add the omnicron missions and boom 1000 suckers buy into it.
