Finalizer and Raddus both belong in the Journey Guide

I believe they also discussed this into the QA, no they shouldnt be. Things will only be added to the journey guide after running 1 year of the "normal" cadence for that event.

What you saying is just plain false, although I think that this is confusion on your part, not anything involving bad intent. It seems more like you're misinterpreting the event being "always on" in the Jouney Guide" with the character/ship being present in the Journey Guide at all. Please note that the language you quote is:

That's not at all the same as putting an entry for the character or ship in the Journey Guide. I called for Finalizer and Raddus to be in the Journey Guide, not for the events to be always on.

They are just fleet commander events

Chimaera is a fleet commander event, and it's there. Ki Adi Mundi and Was Tambor are just Territory Battle special missions, and they are there (note that, weirdly, ROLO and IPD are not). As for the original trio of fleet commander events, they didn't have an unlock at 4 stars. In fact, they didn't have an unlock event at all - they were unlocked through a "challenge" in the Fleet Challenges game mode, not in the "Events" game mode. Not only that, but they provided 15 shards/completion where Raddus (and presumably Finalizer) yield only 10/completion.

Raddus, and presumably Finalizer, are definitely not "Fleet Commander Events" as per the formal designation, and when speaking informally, we know that one other capital ship "fleet commander event" is already in the Journey Guide.

The game is clearly inconsistent on a number of these points, but in general the inconsistencies point to new characters/ships being in when similar, but older, characters/ships are left out. Since these events are clearly in the "Events" section, and since they're new, and since they have a special, recurring "unlock" event portion like legendaries and epic confrontation, they seem to fit squarely in the "should be included in the Journey Guide" camp.

The guide is supposed to be useful for planning, and these are events you need to plan and qualify for.

Yeah, the only one talking about the event becoming available to play every day is Kyno. Please read the OP and you'll find that I'm perfectly calm and just saying that the Journey Guide has a role to play here: allowing people to plan ahead for the event, just as it does for KAM and Wat Tambor, even though those characters will never be available every day.

Being available every day simply isn't a precondition for putting a character or ship in the Journey Guide.

Take a look in that guide again. It clearly says Chimaera is a legendary event.

You clearly didn't read the part where I said that there's a difference between (capital letters) Fleet Commander Events and (lower case) fleet commander events.

I was very clear that Raddus and Finalizer are NOT (capital letters) "Fleet Commander Events". The entire reason this came up was not because of me, but because Gamorrean literally said that Raddus and Finalizer are "fleet commander events" (no caps).

I wanted to just say that Gamorrean is wrong, because these are actually "Advanced Fleet Mastery" events, but then I realized Gamorrean used lower case letters and I wasn't sure if he was trying to say that Raddus and Finalizer are "Fleet Commander Events" in which case Gamorrean would be quite, quite wrong, or if Gamorrean was just trying to say that these are like those events, because it's an event that gives you capital ship shards (lower case: fleet commander events). In that case, Gamorrean would be correct in a sense. I thought it polite not to assume that Gamorrean was completely wrong and instead take a moment to clarify the two different possibilities. Which I did.

I was right then and I'm right now: Raddus & Finalizer are fleet commander events in only the vaguest sense of the term. Officially they are "Advanced Fleet Mastery" events, which are completely different.
