First Order/Resistance needs to be farmable

Is it just me or is it odd that kylo, phasma, Finn, poe, and Rey are pretty easy to farm while the generic first order and resistance characters have one or two from both that is very difficult and Ti...

Is it worth just continuing to just farm hard battles with all your energy? I've been wondering if it is more effective, anyone think so?
