Fix the GAC ranking

Fix the ranking in GAC - it's an absolute travesty without a single shade of competitive integrity and an embarrassment to your company. I'm fighting active players with +4 million GP and 6 GL's. It's so demotivating to keep playing when the most interesting mode of play is so catastrophically flawed.

  • the ranking isnt the problem its just the gamemode as a whole, GAC has always been 90% luck, the winners and losers are decided the same second matchmaking begins, if your opponent has more GLs than you its basically game over dont even bother, only hope is if they dont play that round which again comes back to pure luck 

  • So you want "leagues" where there are GL restrictions and lower GL leagues give less crystals? Now where would you put those +4M GP and +3GL players - to next league? And to climb to next league you'd have GL limit to avoid this? 
    Do you want primarily rewards or fair fights. Can't have both due ladder problem.

    Current solution is that you are placed per your results and you fight equals in the ladder position.

    Ladder problem
    is caused by semiactive old players who have (+4M GP and) +3 GLs who drop slowly downward as they are not active (and thus lose more than they should compared to their roster). 

    Example:  GL restictions (problem opponent has too many GLs)
    if they have 4 GL they cant drop to carbonite. Now when you'd be on edge of improving from carb you'd hit huge wall of 4 GLs which didn't exist in Carb (where everyone has just 0-2) and you'd be demoted instantly as everyone would have those due the demotion wall blocking. Result you cant climb higher. Side result would be that ladder divisions would be different sized.

    Example B: GP based rewards like TW? (problem opponent has too big GP)
    Wouldn't it feel bad to get to a new GP bracet and be the sandbag then? Assumption is that crystal rewards stay the same more GP = better rewards
    Result A) lead to roster development that you just need to pump GP to get to better rewards (even by losing).
    Result B) GP is such bad meter for roster youd have Rosters that are just inheritly focused to win more anyway (if they skip roster pumping)
